    The Swim Clinic aims to give young children and adults the confidence to enjoy the water.

  • Structure

    Our qualified teachers provide structured lessons, encouraging children to gain their confidence and achieve their first few strokes.

    We are a member of Swim England (formerly the ASA -Amateur Swimming Association) and follow their ‘Pathway to Swim’

  • Achievement

    As a child progresses they work towards benchmarked achievements. At each stage children are recognised with a certificate and badge.

  • Courses

    Our weekly classes run during school term times.

  • Classes

    Our classes are small - maximum 5 children at beginner stages and maximum 6 children for lane swimmers.

  • Intensive Courses

    Intensive 5 day courses and Saturday swimming days are held during some school holidays.

  • Guidance

    We can discuss individual requirements to help you decide on the best option.

  • 1:1 & 1:2 Classes

    These are available by arrangement – please contact us.
    Normally booked in termly blocks, but individual lessons can be booked subject to availability.

  • Learn

    Many adults didn’t have the benefit of regular swimming lessons as children.

  • Improve

    Whether you are a non swimmer, an average swimmer wanting to improve or a triathlete looking for training, Swim Clinic can help you.

  • 1:1 Lessons

    For adults we offer individual 1:1 lessons and group classes.

    Adults are usually better suited to individual 1:1 instruction.

We take payment via either Bank Transfer, Direct Debit or debit/credit card.
Please remember we use PayPal to process the payment but during payment use the ‘Checkout as guest’ option and you can pay via credit/debit card. If you have difficulty see our Quick Payment Guide

PLEASE NOTE: Hagbourne and Harwell are seasonal pools, open from Easter to October half term. We will offer swimmers at these venues the opportunity to relocate to another venue for the winter months, subject to availability.

Lucy, just to say you have been by far the best swimming teacher she has ever had! K**** is going to miss her lessons a lot. Thank you so much for taking care of her so well – hopefully we’ll be back soon.

I have been overwhelmed by how much they have improved and would like to thank Lucy.  The kids love swimming with Lucy and Jo!

My granddaughter has gone from being petrified of water to swimming confidently with no fear at all in a short time.  She now enjoys the water and it’s a pleasure to see!  Well done Swim Clinic.

After just 3 lessons I have a different child!  From a 3 year old who would cling on to you in the pool, and hate getting water on her face, to a super confident little girl who absolutely loves to be in the water, and getting her face wet.  Highly recommended!

These ladies are amazing!  My little one was terrified about the idea of swimming lessons!! Very nervous!  Claire had been amazing with him.  She has given him so much confidence that after the second lesson he wanted to swim every day!  He looks forward to it all week!  Couldn’t recommend enough!  I’ll certainly be booking another slot and some intensives when they become available.

My daughter is a very nervous little girl and was very apprehensive about swimming lessons, but by her 2nd lesson Jo had her jumping in herself and being a lot more water confident.  Can’t recommend this swim school highly enough.

Great intensive swimming courses held this holiday!  My daughter has come on so much in a short space of time!
